EDEN, a New Jersey-based nonprofit organization, was founded in 1975 with a mission to improve the lives of children and adults with autism and their families. Parents and professionals alike joined together to develop a family oriented, multifaceted program with a well-trained and dedicated faculty. Inherent in Eden's founding was the commitment to provide a cost-effective, community-based alternative to institutionalization and to offer programming that would meet the changing needs of children and adults with autism.
Eden's services include early intervention, individualized education, group residences and employment opportunities, as well as a comprehensive outreach component that offers expertise and assistance to parents and professionals in the greater autism community.
TARA has dedicated time and finances each year to promoting concerts for the benefit of The Eden Institute Foundation and Eden Florida, both of which benefit children and adults with autism. Through this experience, TARA has developed a substantial institutional history and experience in promoting charity benefits. Through our unique formula, charities receive direct financial benefits from sponsors and patrons, while spreading the word about their causes. Through our unique formula, artists are paid well for their contribution to the causes, both in financial remuneration and a niagara of “good kharma.” Through our unique formula, the public is introduced to the needs of lesser known charities, the amazing talents of lesser known artists, and the fabulous feeling of having helped a worthy cause.
